Now, Lidl has just launched an offer that can take your quiet night in to a whole new level of sophistication without breaking the bank.
Lidl is offering five steak dinners and two bottles of wine – and it only costs £3.40 per person.

This deal involves being a bit savvy, but we’ve crunched the numbers so you don’t have to:
First on the list is a five pack of Birchwood Farm XXL British beef rump steaks costing £9.99 – that’s £2 per steak.
Then, it costs exactly 39p for a 70 gram portion of wild rocket.
A bag of Harvest Basket potato wedges will set you back by the tiny amount of 65p between the five of you.
